The Medical Office Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day business and patient in-take operations. The supervisor ensures at all times a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care environment. The Supervisor oversees the training and orientation of all business and patient intake staff members and provides ongoing supervision and evaluation. Administrative responsibilities include tracking monthly financial and patient statistics, reporting on financial progress and practice production, scheduling of business/patient intake staff, overseeing billing, collection and insurance functions, ordering of office supplies, manage patient intake operations, including managing the customer experience, maximizing patient flow, performing tasks assigned by the Practice Manager, and optimizing the work environment to facilitate open communications, professional excellence and superb customer service.Education:
Required:
- High school graduate.Preferred:
- B.S. Business Administration or related degree
- Bilingual preferredExperience:
Required:
-Two years' experience in related field
- Knowledge of practice procedures and equipment.Preferred:

The Supervisor ensures at all times a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care environment. The Supervisor oversees the training and orientation of all business and patient intake staff members and provides ongoing supervision and evaluation. Administrative responsibilities include tracking monthly financial and patient statistics, reporting on financial progress and practice production, scheduling of business/patient intake staff, overseeing billing, collection and insurance functions, ordering of office supplies, manage patient intake operations, including managing the customer experience, maximizing patient flow, performing tasks assigned by the Practice Manager, and optimizing the work environment to facilitate open communications, professional excellence and superb customer service.This position is involved in a team-based approach to care. Team members are trained to meet the highest level of function for their role as per the State of Tennessee/Georgia guidelines. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to coordinate care for patients and is trained and assigned to support patients/families/caregivers in self-management, self-efficacy and behavior change. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to manage the practices' patient population. Participates in the practice's quality improvement process and performance evaluation.Knowledge of regulatory standards and health care compliance
