For over 70 years, we have been dedicated to creating a more inclusive community by empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.Job Summary: The Arc Mercer is seeking a dedicated Janitorial Operations Manager to support the operations of our commercial cleaning division, which employs over 100 individuals with special needs. Must be available during core operational hours (6 AM – 10 PM) to address urgent needs.What We Need:
  • Responsible for establishing best practices and standards for all facets of cleaning within our contracts.
  • Responsible for training, staffing, inventory and task completion of Site Supervisors, Crew Leaders and Consumer Associates.
  • Does spot inspections at all facilities; produces QA reports for the Director.
  • Provide a safe working environment for workshop and CNA staff and Consumer Associates.
  • Monitor payroll hours
What You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least two years of Janitorial Operations experience or High School Diploma with at least five years of Janitorial Operations and supervision in a hands-on roll in a commercial office building setting.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Be able to use good judgement in resolving any consumer or customer issues.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with no more than 3 suspensions and/or moving violations in the past 3 years.
