2. Masters’ degree in Human Services/Counseling
3. Successful and appropriate health and human services work and/or school experience
4. Experience with students preferred 5.Current Montana professional license in good standing (LCPC or LCSW)Grant Funded for 2 years: School year 2023/24 and 2024/25Job Goal/Position Summary:
To enhance student functioning and achievement within the school setting. Interventions involve providing effective and professional, evidence-based, individual, group, and
family therapy and/or education. Work with the Wellness and Resilience Project (K-8) and school staff to provide a systems-approach for student care.Performance Responsibilities: (may include but not limited to the following):
1. Provide direct services to students - individual therapy. Facilitates group services to students - educational and/or group therapy. Provides direct services to parents - educational and/or family
therapy.
2. Acts as a liaison for students and families to community resources/agencies and/or providers. Provide referral services, if needed.
3. Administer assessments as needed for treatment and data collection. Monitor progress toward treatment goals and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
4. Provides phone triage to the school wellness teams to assist in decision making after a school-aged youth exhibiting behavioral signs warranting the need for clinical attention occurs
and the youth is stabilized.
5. Ensures clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Maintains compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and state privacy laws.
6. Recognizes and educates team members that managing youth centered care is a team effort that involves clinical and nonclinical staff interacting with the student and family to achieve stated
objectives. Work with school staff to provide a systems-approach to care for students.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
