- Monitor / maintain Global Compliance and government files for TSA, FAA, DOT, CBP, FMC, C-TPAT, FCPA, IATA, etc.
- Coordinate, monitor, and facilitate government and internal audits for TSA, FAA, DG, CCSF, Census, DDTC, etc.
- Develop, coordinate, and track compliance training for Dangerous Goods, CCSF, TSA, Sanctions, AES, Export Controls, and other compliance related topics.
- Monitor and maintain DOT and DVIR compliance and files.
- Manage and respond in a timely manner to compliance and procedural questions via Freshdesk, email, and incoming phone calls.
- Create and update compliance standard operating procedures.
- Perform initial and ongoing diligence on AIT suppliers to ensure compliance with government rules and regulations.
- Effectively complete special projects assigned as dictated by business needs.
- Maintain legal and compliance related files in well-organized manner, accurate, easily accessible and updated, as needed.
- Review inquires and requests from internal customers and provide actionable responses and procedures that meet compliance requirements.
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.
- Draft, update, and implement compliance programs based upon the needs of the organization and regulatory changes

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Basic knowledge of freight forwarding, trade and transportation compliance (sanctions & embargos, anti-boycott) and vendor management
- Ability to analyze, digest and present large amounts of information/data to operational stakeholders related to compliance audits, training, etc.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage compliance issues that arise.
- The ability to work independently
- Effective prioritization of large projects
- Must have advanced abilities in the areas of writing and reading comprehension, particularly in the areas of legal affairs and regulatory matters.
- Must be able to work well with all individuals at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
