Senior Environmental Air Specialist – Environmental Services

Travel: Up to 25%Key Responsibilities
- Lead air quality impact analyses and provide technical consulting expertise
- Manage and mentor Air & Noise staff
- Prepare air permit application packages and verify emission calculations
- Review air dispersion modeling (e.g., AERMOD) with modeling practitioners
- Oversee multi-media reporting and plans (SPCC, SWPPP, EPCRA)
- Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections
- Prepare site investigation proposals and cost estimates
- Develop cost proposals and qualification statements
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff
- Build and maintain client relationships and pursue new business
- Present at client and professional meetings
- Manage sales and marketing efforts
- Ensure QA/QC process adherence and safety compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field + 8 years of experience, or engineering degree + 7 years
- Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience
- Proficiency in air pollution permitting and compliance
- Consulting experience preferred
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local air regulations (Clean Air Act, NSR/PSD, NESHAP, Title V/VI)
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
