We invite you to contribute to a sustainable future working in an open, collaborative and empowering culture.Job DescriptionPosition Summary:We are seeking an experienced Architectural Construction Superintendent to lead the field execution of architectural scopes on fast-paced data center construction projects. This role is responsible for managing the installation of building envelopes, interior finishes, raised floors, clean rooms, ceilings, doors/hardware, and architectural details, ensuring compliance with specifications, schedule, and safety standards.The ideal candidate brings deep field experience in managing high-end architectural scopes within mission-critical or technically complex environments.Key Responsibilities:Field Supervision & Execution
- Direct daily activities of subcontractors responsible for architectural systems including:
- Building envelope (walls, windows, doors, roofing)
- Drywall, painting, ceilings, raised access flooring
- Doors, frames, and hardware
- Cleanroom and other controlled-environment finishes
- Ensure all installations are aligned with design intent, code requirements, and project specifications.
- Maintain a consistent field presence to monitor safety, quality, and productivity.
- Develop and manage 3-week lookahead schedules for architectural trades.
- Coordinate architectural scopes with structural and MEP systems to prevent conflicts and ensure seamless integration.
- Support MEP access and in-wall/in-ceiling inspections prior to enclosure or finish installation.
- Perform routine field inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and QA/QC protocols.
- Ensure tolerances, finishes, alignments, and transitions meet architectural standards and owner expectations.
- Coordinate with quality, design, and commissioning teams to address punch items and maintain clean turnover zones.
- Enforce jobsite safety practices among subcontractors working on finishes, working at height, and in enclosed spaces.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with all project safety procedures, including dust mitigation and cleanliness in operational environments.
- Support protection of completed finishes during ongoing construction activity.
- Maintain daily logs of manpower, progress, inspections, and issues.
- Coordinate RFIs and field changes with engineering, document control, and design teams.
- Participate in OAC and subcontractor coordination meetings to represent the architectural field scope.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction with a focus on architectural trades.
- Proven experience managing architectural scopes on data centers, healthcare, pharmaceutical, other mission-critical projects or larger industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial finishes, building envelopes, cleanroom protocols, and controlled-access construction.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, finish schedules, and construction specifications.
- Familiarity with sequencing of architectural trades within the broader construction lifecycle.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, ACC, or other construction field management tools.
- Experience with BIM coordination and integration of architectural elements into 3D models.
- LEED knowledge or experience on sustainable/high-performance buildings is a plus.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to coordinate across disciplines and field crews.
- Able to maintain high standards of finish in high-pressure, schedule-driven environments.
