- Part-Time HR Operations Specialist, Total Rewards
- Oversee domestic and international relocation policies and programs, as well as global assignments. (Global Visa’s as well as L-1, TN, PERM and other visa filings)
- Actively manage relocation and tax provider vendor relationships, lead case calls, obtain reporting requirements and interact with our legal support
- Monitor changes to employment status, job title, office location, and salary, and notify appropriate stakeholders
- Provide counsel and education to business partners and employees on sensitive mobility, legal and tax matters in a confidential manner
- Manage day-to-day aspects of domestic and international relocations and expatriate assignments within our system
- May support Mergers and acquisitions work as well
- We are seeking a Global Mobility Partner with solid working experience supporting issues for the US, Canada and Mexico. You would be on-site in our Southfield, MI headquarters 2 days a week and would work 20 hours/week.
- Contract duration is one year, with likelihood to go longer.
- You will communicate effectively across the company and will be part of a small but powerful team who plays an important role partnering with key stakeholders across the business on all relocation, expatriate and mobility tax matters.
- As our main contact you must be willing to work across multiple time zones in a caring and detailed manner. You will report to our Leader, People & Culture, as well as our global Center of Expertise (COE), and work a hybrid schedule out of our Southfield, MI headquarters.
- Benefit compensation expertise (pension and 401k) and Coordination (vendor bidding, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5-7+ years of Global Mobility in a fast-paced environment. In-house global mobility or immigration law firm expertise highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task within a high volume environment and minimal supervision
- Experience managing relocations and complex expatriate assignments and tax matters
- Partner with talent acquisition, finance/payroll for budget tracking, accrual, bill back and forecasting
- Flexible, positive, confident, and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detailed and tech-savvy
