This is a direct hire position with full benefits.Job SummaryThe Senior IT Systems Manager will oversee all facets of IT operations ranging from hardware and network infrastructure to application development, system administration, and ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics SL. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is responsible for aligning IT strategy with business goals, ensuring system reliability, security, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain IT infrastructure: hardware, servers, networking, telecommunications, and end-user devicesOversee programming and system development across business functions and processes.Administer and enhance ERP capabilities (Microsoft Dynamics SL), including functional updates, integrations, and user support.Lead system administration tasks: OS updates, backups, disaster recovery, and access controlDrive IT strategy development, policy creation, and technology standardization in collaboration with stakeholdersEnsure data security, system performance monitoring, and regulatory compliance.Lead tech projects and coordinate vendor relationships, budgeting, procurement, and license managementStay current on emerging IT trends and technologies to support continuous innovation and business improvementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferredMinimum 5+ years in IT management, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environmentsProven experience with ERP systems—especially Microsoft Dynamics SL (or similar systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)Solid background in network administration, systems administration, and hardware management.Strong project management and budgeting skills; experience managing vendor contracts and resources.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Strong verbal and written communication for collaborating with cross-functional teams.Nice-to-Have QualificationsCertifications such as Microsoft Dynamics, ITIL, CompTIA, or Cisco.Experience with IT governance/compliance frameworks.Familiarity with cloud services and future IT strategies.
