This is a place for builders who thrive in fast feedback loops, care deeply about customer outcomes, and enjoy working on end-to-end product challenges.What You Will DoLead the design and implementation of products and systems from concept to production.Own full-stack projects that include writing technical blueprints, building solutions, and engaging directly with customers for feedback.Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to shape architecture and technical roadmap.Contribute to a culture of high craft through code reviews, detailed technical feedback, and mentorship.Drive outcomes with reliability, ownership, and a focus on delivering measurable impact for customers.Ideal Candidate Background4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production systems.Strong technical fundamentals in backend APIs, data modeling, and system design.Hands-on experience with modern frontend and backend development (React, Node, TypeScript or similar).Excellent problem-solving skills with curiosity to understand business context and user needs.Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex ideas clearly.Collaborative and product-minded, with humility and a focus on elevating the team.PreferredPrior experience at a high-growth SaaS or fintech startup.Background in fast-paced engineering environments with a high bar for technical quality.Familiarity with Stripe, embedded payments, or financial systems.Exposure to AI-enabled workflows or building developer-friendly abstractions.Compensation and BenefitsBase salary of $190,000 – $250,000 , plus equity (0.05% – 0.5%).Hybrid work model with vibrant offices in New York City and San Francisco.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.Generous PTO and parental leave.An opportunity to join a lean, AI-native, and highly collaborative team where your work directly shapes the future of a trillion-dollar industry.
