ALPS is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and communicative Account Manager to join our team. Based in our beautiful downtown Missoula office, this role plays a key part in building strong client relationships and ensuring retention through exceptional service and proactive communication.This full-time, in-office position offers a competitive starting salary of $50,000 annually plus commission, with higher earning potential based on experience. It also includes a robust benefits package and opportunities for professional development and career growth.What You'll Do:
  • Manage a book of existing client accounts with a focus on retention and relationship-building
  • Initiate contact with clients ahead of renewal dates and follow up to support continued coverage
  • Cross-sell ALPS products and services as appropriate
  • Provide high-quality customer service and timely communication
  • Track account activity and maintain accurate client records
  • Adapt to shifting priorities, deadlines, and increased workload with professionalism and efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Take on leadership opportunities by guiding processes, sharing best practices, and supporting team success
What You Bring:
  • Proven success in account management or client-facing roles
  • Experience managing an increased workload with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
  • Professional, resourceful, and customer-focused
  • Previous lead or mentorship experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty Producer License (if not already licensed)
