This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into functional designs, configure SAP WM with Stockroom Management, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse process optimization, stockroom migrations, and end-to-end SAP WM implementations. This is a senior-level role requiring both technical configuration skills and strong business process knowledge.Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP WM with Stockroom Management in S/4HANA.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements for warehouse and stockroom operations.
  • Integrate WM with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules for smooth end-to-end operations.
  • Configure warehouse structures (storage types, sections, bins, picking/putaway strategies).
  • Support migration from SAP WM to Stockroom Management in S/4HANA.
  • Perform testing (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure documentation of processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve WM/Stockroom Management-related production issues.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to end-users and support teams.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for warehouse process optimization and SAP configuration standards.
Must Have
  • At least 10+ years of SAP WM experience, including 3+ years in Stockroom Management.
  • Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes.
  • Proven experience with S/4HANA Stockroom Management migration projects.
  • Expertise in configuring storage types, sections, bins, and warehouse control parameters.
  • Hands-on experience integrating WM with MM, SD, and PP modules.
  • Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills in SAP WM environments.
  • Ability to create detailed functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to SAP EWM.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like RF devices and barcode scanning solutions.
  • Experience in pharma, manufacturing, or retail warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of SAP Fiori apps related to WM/Stockroom Management.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
