Logistics and Procurement LeadWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to take the lead on logistics and procurement activities for a major construction project in Northern Indiana. This role will focus on managing on-site materials, equipment deliveries, and overall site logistics for a large-scale development, ensuring efficiency and safety across all material handling operations.While prior experience in data center construction is not required, candidates must demonstrate a strong background in managing the logistical demands of large, active construction sites—especially in receiving, inventory coordination, and the movement of materials.Core Duties-Logistics and Procurement LeadDelivery & Receiving OperationsDirect daily coordination of incoming and outgoing materials and equipmentEnsure all shipments are accurately documented, inspected, and recordedAct as the primary site contact for deliveries, liaising with drivers, vendors, and subcontractorsSite Layout & Material StagingOversee the layout and maintenance of laydown areas and material staging zonesImplement procedures for unloading, routing, and distributing materials across the jobsiteManage delivery timing to reduce congestion and support smooth site operationsMaterial Tracking & SchedulingWork with site leads to prioritize deliveries in line with the construction scheduleMonitor availability and readiness of key materials across major scopes of workSupport installation teams by ensuring timely material access where and when neededProcurement Interface & Inventory OversightCoordinate closely with procurement to track long-lead items and delivery timelinesReport shortages, damages, or missed deliveries and assist with resolutionHelp maintain updated material forecasts and onsite inventory recordsReporting & CommunicationKeep detailed logs of deliveries and material movementProvide progress updates and logistics summaries to field leadershipMaintain open lines of communication with all project stakeholders to support material planning and issue resolutionWhat We're Looking For5+ years in a logistics, warehouse, or materials coordination role—preferably on large construction sitesFamiliarity with jobsite logistics, material handling protocols, and basic construction materialsAble to multitask in a high-volume environment and prioritize shifting site needsExperience using software like Procore, Excel, or other tracking toolsCapable of overseeing forklift operations and material movement (certification is a plus)Bonus QualificationsPast involvement in large industrial or infrastructure projectsOSHA 10 or 30 certificationForklift certification and knowledge of safe material handling practicesStrong communication and coordination skills when working with crews, vendors, and site leadership
