- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
- Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns.
- Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and concerns.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
