SNOWMAKERBASIC FUNCTIONSnowmaker is responsible for carrying out duties assigned by Snowmaking Manager and Supervisors including but not limited to: set up/take down of equipment, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Snowmakers will report any issues directly to on duty supervisor. Daily communication and coordination with Day/night snowmaking supervisor and Snowmaking Manager.CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Move/set up Snowmaking equipment
  • Communicate with Snowmaking Manager/Supervisor, to ensure best snow quality production
  • Pump house operation
  • Inventory of all snowmaking equipment
  • Communication with snowmaking Supervisor and Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment
  • Use PPE and follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Assist with other projects or duties as assigned
SUPERVISION RECEIVEDDirection is received from Snowmaking Supervisor, and Snowmaking ManagerQUALIFICATIONS
  • Follow all RMR rules, procedures and policies
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Follow instructions from the Snowmaking Manager, Supervisors and Mountain Operations Manager
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to work in various positions i.e. sitting, crouched, standing or laying down
  • Must be able to work in adverse outdoor environments
  • Must be able to work without supervision
  • Any snowmaking experience is a plus
