The Production Foreman directs and participates in activities within the operations team as it relates to production, inventory management, and quality. These highly motivated individuals ensure efficient production while promoting and working safely within established policies and procedures.This Foreman position will be a working role, working to repair products and managing a small team.Work schedule: Mondays to Fridays from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime might be required.Location: Benicia, CAResponsibilities:Production planning in different work centers (machining, welding, assembly, mechanics/millwrights)Management of KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework)Able to assist Customers with troubleshooting and technical questionsHands-on work to repair, weld, assemble, and machine products (at least 50% of the workday)Approximately 25% of Administrative Duties managing budgets and scheduling allocationApproximately 25% of Performance evaluations, training and developmentLead and hold accountable a small team composed of welders, machinists, and mechanicsKnowledge of Excel, Internet Applications, and Basis Computer SkillsOversee all aspects of operations including but not limited to, shipping/receiving, inspection, quality documentation, and customer communicationOther duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED5-7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environmentMechanical experience with pumps (assembly/disassembly, repairs).Ability to lead and direct others.Preferred Experience / Skills:Experience with ISO-9000-14000Desirable knowledge of welding standards (AWS, ASME)Knowledge of machining and weldingBenefits Starting from Day 1:Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (including FSA and HSA options)Life Insurance + Supplemental Life, Child, Spousal, and AD&D InsuranceShort and Long Term DisabilityRetirement Planning, 401(k) plan, & Financial Wellness ResourcesEducational Assistance ProgramTime off Policies (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid vacation)Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.The pay range for this position is 38.44 - 57.69 USD Hourly.
