- Assist the property manager in maintaining accurate records of leasing transactions, rent payments, and maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with leasing policies, procedures, and regulations, and address any issues promptly and effectively.
- Support the property manager in developing and implementing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective tenants, and vendors, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in organizing resident events and activities to foster a sense of community and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with residents to ensure their needs are met and issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Assist with leasing activities, including responding to inquiries, conducting property tours, and processing lease applications.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants and maintain high occupancy rates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor properties, and local demographics to inform leasing and marketing efforts.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as lease preparation, lease renewals, move-in/move-out procedures, and resident correspondence.
- Manage resident files and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and analyze data related to leasing, occupancy, and financial performance to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of maintenance issues and timely completion of work orders.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong sense of accountability among staff members.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, preferably in multifamily housing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with residents, team members, and vendors.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
