- Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality courteous service, and by applying experience, knowledge, training and great communication.
- Thoroughly complete inspections in a timely manner as scheduled and interface with Inspection Coordinator to ensure that the customer receives the work per proposed scope.
- Utilizes an online scheduling system to receive and understand the individual scheduled tasks, customer locations, and maintain other company documents as required (timesheets, safety audits, etc.)
- Maintain positive customer relationships and review inspection results with customer.
- Turn in required paperwork at completion of each work order.
- Use of phone and computers, tablets to process daily inspection reports.
- Maintain equipment, supplies and company vehicle (if supplied) in good working order.
- Study and learn NFPA standards for the inspection and testing of Fire Protection Systems.
- Stay current with code requirements, industry changes, and obtain NICET Level II certifications.
- Desire to cross train and learn other life safety fields – Fire Alarm – Special Hazards
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Good verbal / written communication & Customer service skills to clearly and concisely communicate with customers.
- Mechanical & Math Aptitude
- Exceptional computer & Apple IOs skills
- Professional and Organized
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior trade experience, Sprinkler and or Fire Alarm at least 3 years, a plus
- Ability and desire to be part of a team.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- NICET Certification Level I Water based Testing is required - Level II after the first year
- Florida State Inspector Water Based Systems testing Certificate.
- FASA-BASA Certification within 90 days of hire
- Back Flow Certification – Training will be provided as needed.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Industrial, Commercial, & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels, and comfort with working at heights
- Mostly a physical demanding role. Most of the daily demand is standing and walking stairs and climbing ladders, operating lifts.
