- Greet and welcome guests; provide facility tours to prospective members
- Provide membership and program information and assist with membership, enrollment, and billing questions
- Recommend programs, services, and membership options to prospective members
- Process sales, registrations, and bookings through member management software
- Keep abreast of programs and services to accurately register participants
- Answer phone, direct calls, and provide information to callers
- Update records in member management software and on CRM platform
- Assist with reporting by providing data
- Assist with clerical duties, front desk functions, and front desk staff training
- Attend regular meetings
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness and ability to enforce policies and resolve conflicts
- Computer skills
- Ability to handle several tasks at once with frequent interruptions
- First Aid, CPR, AED certifications required (provided)
- Office environment/fitness center environment
- Moderate to loud noise
- Scheduled shifts, may include weekends
- Standing or walking for at least 50% of the work day
- Must be able to discuss, converse with, and exchange accurate information with patrons, staff, stakeholders, etc.
- Occasional bending, stooping
