Our client is a startup telecommunications company on a mission to provide reliable internet access to impoverished areas and underserved communities. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, they’re helping bridge the digital divide and expand connectivity to those who need it most. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Dallas.As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and services that power innovative telecommunications systems. You’ll build robust backend microservices in Golang and develop responsive, user-friendly frontends using Ember.js (though experience with React, Vue, or other modern JavaScript frameworks is also welcomed). You’ll work across the stack while leveraging cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) to deliver highly reliable and secure software solutions that directly contribute to expanding internet access for underserved communities.Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices in Golang within a distributed, cloud-based architecture.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain front-end applications in Ember.js (or transferable skills from React, Vue, or similar frameworks).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs.
  • Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and performant in production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and continuously improve system reliability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with proven full stack development expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in Golang for backend microservices.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks: Ember.js (preferred), or React, Vue, Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), including services like EC2, Lambda, Kubernetes, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work onsite in Dallas 1–2 days per week.
Nice-to-Have
  • Telecommunications or networking industry experience.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, Kafka, or message queues.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active GitHub portfolio.
