Commercial HVAC/R Preventative Maintenance Technician

- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems in commercial settings.
- System Diagnostics: Identify and diagnose potential issues with HVAC/R systems and components. Perform minor repairs and adjustments to maintain system performance.
- Documentation: Utilize company issued laptop/tablet to maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, addressing their concerns and providing clear explanations of work performed. Offer recommendations for system improvements when appropriate.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other technicians and service staff to deliver high-quality service to our customers.
- Company Vehicle: Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior hands-on experience (commercial or residential HVAC) OR completion of a vocational or technical program in HVAC/R is preferred.
- Certifications: Universal EPA certification.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, electrical components, and controls, with proficiency in using diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to clients and team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- $18 - $24/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
