
Parts, Materials, and Process Engineer

- Provide expertise in electronic parts, materials and processes engineering
- Provide expertise in electronic parts quality and reliability
- Interface with government, industry, and academia to advance component engineering knowledge, practices, and standardization
- Quality and reliability component application studies, electronic parts and circuit tolerance analysis, environmental stress analysis, part quality and reliability verification and analysis, failure analysis studies and corrective action development, development of part testing requirements, part and assembly problem investigations, and development of failure rate prediction for a broad spectrum of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical part and assembly categories
- The duties will also include collaboration within the DoD, other government agencies, industry, and academia to establish cooperative programs for electronics that address performance, reliability, and quality, and establish and maintain standards, specifications, and practices that affect radar electronics
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
- The work requires a background in electrical, electronics, mechanical, and/or industrial engineering, and a broad knowledge of engineering and science applicable to electronics packaging and assembly technology
- Requires 7-10 years’ experience
- Must be able to travel
- Microcircuit, printed wiring board, or circuit card manufacturing experience a plus
- Microcircuit, printed wiring board, and circuit card design experience a plus
