State: Oregon (US-OR)The Role at a glance:We are looking to add an enthusiastic event worker to our team. As an event worker, you will have the opportunity to provide incredible food service to a diverse clientele across a variety of banquets and catered events.What you'll be doing:
  • Preparing the banquet room or area for the event, serving customers, and cleaning up after the event.
  • Delivering and/or serving food and beverages to customers.
  • Greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, explaining menu items, taking orders, and offering follow-up items to improve the event.
  • Ensuring courteous, prompt service for all event functions according to established guidelines.
  • Greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking and delivering orders, and continuing with follow-up items.
  • Ensuring that service follows health code regulations.
  • Basic customer service interactions.
  • Any other tasks as necessary.
What we're looking for:Must-haves:
  • The ability to work as part of a team devoted to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Prior food service experience in a catering or restaurant setting.
Nice-to-haves:
  • Food Handler’s certification.
  • At least one year of food service experience in a catering or restaurant setting.
