
Commercial HVAC Technician

- Hourly Rate: $30-$42 per hour ($62,400-$87,360 annual base salary)
- On-Call Pay: $150 for scheduled on-call duties
- Paid Time Off: Start with 48 hours, increasing to 168 hours with tenure
- Paid Holidays: 7 per year (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas)

- Perform scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts
- Install and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and ice machines
- Conduct routine maintenance on refrigeration systems and ice machines
- Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC systems to determine repair needs
- Inspect, repair, and replace equipment as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance and recommend repairs to prevent downtime
- Respond promptly to emergency service requests
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve facility mechanical conditions
- Support facility-related projects
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Work independently on light commercial equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Complete paperwork accurately and on time
- Experience: 3-6 years in Commercial HVAC systems (VAVs, RTUs, air handlers, condensers, split systems, Ice Machines, Reach-in/Walk-in Coolers & Freezers)
- Certifications: EPA Certification required
- Hand tools and drills
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with industry software (preferred but not required)
- Ability to climb/descend ladders carrying up to 30 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs., and work in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics)
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Flexibility for overtime and occasional travel
- Ability to meet enhanced security clearance requirements
- Valid driver's license; subject to drug, background, and driver's license checks
- Remote work with occasional travel for training or meetings
