- Supervise the delivery of nursing care and services during assigned shifts to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Oversee staffing and assignments, ensuring appropriate clinical personnel are present and supported.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and resources for nursing staff.
- Monitor and promote quality care initiatives, compliance, and patient safety procedures.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to clinical staff, celebrating progress and patient milestones.
- Active RN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact license).
- BLS certification (ACLS required within one year).
- CRRN certification required within one year of eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred (BSN).
- At least 2 years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting within the past 5 years.
- Previous leadership experience such as charge nurse or similar role with responsibilities for supervision, performance, and team development.
- Annual salary range: $100,000 – $125,000, depending on experience and credentials
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Full-time, day shift schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:8 AM & 1:9 PM
- Facility size: 87 beds
