
Electrician

- Install and maintain electrical systems throughout the facility to provide power in accordance with national electrical codes.
- Use appropriate test instruments to diagnose, isolate, and correct electrical malfunctions.
- Perform emergency repairs in a timely manner to offset excessive downtime and production delays.
- Layout installations and prepare bills of materials and requisitions from engineering specifications for major projects.
- Perform preventative maintenance functions and work orders as directed.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical/electronic equipment.
- Comply with safety precautions, such as LOTO, when troubleshooting and repairing high-voltage equipment.
- Replace conduit, wirings, and circuit breakers as needed.
- Experienced Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably 2-3 years' electronics experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Extensive working knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and guidance.
- High School or Vocational graduate with the completion of a formal apprenticeship or years of equivalent experience.
