Work in coordination with the VPA Faculty Director, Executive Director, Senior Program Coordinator, and others in support of VPA's operations and programming.
- Work closely with faculty director, executive director, and senior program coordinator to build and operate VPA.
- Coordinates conferences, workshops, guest speakers, and other event programming.
- Manages press and communications by reviewing and maintaining web pages for the VPA website.
- Coordinates project management activities.
- Assists with general outreach and development efforts.
- Designs event posters, fliers, signage, and conference materials.
- Provides knowledge management support by updating and organizing institutional resources.
- Coordinates complex meeting, conference, and event logistics, and calculates program budgetary activities with Finance & Administrative Services.
This position does not have supervisory responsibility; the position reports to the Senior Program Coordinator.Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree is necessary.
A minimum of 1 years of experience is necessary. Experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
Candidates should have some interest in public policy and/or law.
Ability to demonstrate maturity, creativity and initiative is necessary.
Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects is necessary.
