- Provides oversight for all projects within the Program, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Maintains a high attention to detail and professionalism, keeping client satisfaction a top priority.
- Accountable for the full end-to-end program lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, documentation, governance, and release oversight.
- Creates and maintains program schedules, documentation, and performance reports, ensuring consistency with company processes, tools, and procedures.
- Monitors performance against scope, schedule, cost, and resources, making prioritization decisions and adjustments as required. Tracks key performance indicators and escalates risks, issues, and dependencies when needed.
- Assesses risks proactively, develops contingency plans, and implements mitigation strategies.
- Applies subject matter expertise to improve engagement, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, and optimize cost savings.
- Balances competing project constraints (scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk) to achieve program success.
- Connects project objectives to broader organizational goals, driving alignment with strategy, commitments, and company priorities.
- Provides input to contracts, ensures completeness of scope, and negotiates with internal teams to secure necessary resources.
- Establishes program management functions that guide direction, coordination, execution, and control of complex work streams.
- Oversees cross-functional teams and manages conflicts to ensure effective collaboration.
- Communicates across all stakeholder levels to drive accountability, visibility, and decision-making.
- Diploma or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience in IT / Software
- Minimum of 3+ years' industry experience as a Program Manager
- Expertise with project management methodologies
- Proven ability to drive large scale projects with high collaboration and leadership
- Excellent presentation skills and experience of presenting to executive leadership
- PMP certification preferred
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadlines and pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills, assertive with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups
- Strong written communication skills and interpersonal skills
