- Meet with existing customers, including residential contractors, builders, and homeowners, to identify and qualify potential prospects
- Present current product offerings and provide professional onsite presentations of company products and services
- Identify and qualify new prospective customers through research, networking, and cold-calling
- Manage job sites to ensure construction meets company specifications and all code requirements
- Provide customers and prospects with continuous updates on product modifications, changes, and enhancements
- Represent the company effectively at industry conferences and trade shows, where applicable
- Maintain and update customer account records, including contact names and numbers for future sales opportunities
- Prepare sales and marketing reports and maintain accurate expense accounts
- 2+ years of sales experience selling into the construction industry, and or selling specialty products like elevators
- Proven expertise in territory sales or a related role
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and job sites simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction processes and relevant code requirements
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Ability to be on the road 75% of the time
