The Location:Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.The Position:We're looking for passionate Activities Assistant (CNA) to provide on-going meaningful activities based on resident's individual needs and interests. Leads group activities and visits residents on a one-to-one basis as directed by the Activities Director.
Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis as directed by the Activities Director for the purpose of providing one or more of the following: Friendly visits, Physical activity, Emotional support, Sensory stimulation, reality orientation, and Intellectual stimulation.
Participates in individual and group activities with residents and other care teams.
As CNA, the Activities Assistant provides activities of daily living (ADL) care and support to residents.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age of 18.
Completion of state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii within four (4) months of hire.
Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
