- Research and solve payment discrepancies
- Process credit card payments and credits
- Make adjustments to accounts as needed
- Assist the sales effort in establishing guest credit in accordance to policies and procedures, to include the application process, reference checks and other credit related activities
- Provide customers with accurate and timely invoices, statements and schedules
- Respond effectively to guest inquiries in a timely fashion. Notify Director of Finance of all issues and/or disputes.
- Maintain an efficient collection process
- Ensure proper internal control by monitoring guest ledger, advance deposit ledger and any other related subsidiary ledgers
- Maintain regular attendance, which may vary according to the needs of the business
- Cross train and assist with Accounts Payable and General Cashier duties.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by Director of Finance
- High School Diploma required
- 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Position requires excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
- Ability to handle issues with integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations.
- Must have proven proficiency in working with computers and computer programs, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems and Great Appfolio Accounting Software a plus.
