MAINTENACE/CONSTRUCTION CREW MEMBERBig Sandy Superstore is seeking skilled and dedicated MAINTENANCE/CONSTRUCTION CREW MEMBERS to join our team.The duties of the maintenance and construction crew are to maintain and perform construction and maintenance projects within Big Sandy Superstore locations.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in all aspects of the construction trades. This role requires the ability to readily complete projects on a scheduled, timely basis, to ensure overall compliance with all necessary store maintenance, repairs, remodels and construction projects.Duties
  • Work individually or as a team member on remodels and new construction sites and projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of units, facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance on various projects.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience - Hands-On experience as a Maintenance Technician or Construction Laborer in commercial/retail properties.
  • Have knowledge and experience in painting, electrical systems, carpentry, roofing, flooring, plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance practices.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Driver's License (Required) for possible use of company vehicles.
