Texas PSB License C-00111Job Skills / RequirementsHandle Operations call-offs in collaboration with the Captain. Handle all call-offs for 24 hours on Captain’s days off. Document all schedule changes.Make routine post inspections,for the purpose of training, monitoring, and evaluating officer performance.Maintain all vehicle maintenance and logs.Supervise and train all Sergeants.Assist the Captain in overseeing the security division:
  • Assist Captain with the schedules. Fill all open posts and minimize non-billable overtime.
  • Train security officers about general security, specific post instructions, and TIS Policies & Procedures.
  • Work any post necessary in order to prevent an open post.
  • Ensure compliance with TIS policy and procedures, state and federal laws, including safety and personnel laws.
  • Document all disciplinary action, using Policy Manual guidelines.
Requirements:
- Work flexible shifts up to 40 hours per week.
- Have weapon and duty belt.
- Have access to reliable transportation.
- Pass background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications.
- Provide military discharge document with discharge status indicated, if applicable.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Read, speak and understand the English language fluently.
- Basic Android-based smart-phone skills.
