- Responsible for developing a longer-term (5 year) integrated supply chain strategy to support the business the includes a 5-year infrastructure plan for manufacturing and distribution.
- Plans, develops, and implements operational strategies (1-2 years) in the context of overall organizational strategy.
- Delivers SSQCC objectives (safety, service, quality, cost, and capital) that align with our strategy.
- Responsible for the financial performance of Operations
- Collaborates with Human Resources to ensure the Operations organization has a high level of employee engagement and promotes the AprilAire core values.
- As member of the Senior Leadership team, ensure open, collaborative, and effective communication with all departments of the company.
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
- Proven ability to demonstrate vision and strategy execution to further develop and lead an integrated supply chain operations strategy in support of a high growth business strategy with a focus on being globally cost competitive.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience at a Senior management level leading an operations organization for a $1B - $5B manufacturing business with a minimum of 1M sq. ft. of manufacturing and distribution in multiple locations.
- 15 years of progressing experience including a minimum of 10 years as a senior level leader in Operations management
- Minimum 10 years of operational and financial management experience in high volume, repetitive make-to-stock organizations
- Substantial experience operating in a fast growing, geographically diverse environment.
- Passion about building and leading a low-cost, high service level platform while also expanding capacity, and show a track record of demonstrated results consistent with the key responsibilities of the role.
- Proven track record of data driven decision making, strong analytical capabilities, balanced with high emotional intelligence and team building leadership skills.
- Depth of experience in hard goods consumer/light industrial manufacturing and DC people and facilities leadership.
- Experience in a collective bargained organization preferred, leading an operation with 500+ production employees.
- Must possess a global perspective and have international experience, specifically in Asia and Mexico.
