- Title: Production Operator (Cleanroom Environment)
- Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have prior production experience, preferably in a cleanroom.
- Schedule: Shift C, 6:45am - 7:00pm Saturday - Monday (FT - Guaranteed 40hr pay)
- Location: Gibbstown, NJ (08027)
- Salary Range: $22.00 hourly, based on experience and qualifications. Plus, shift differential.
- Read and complete batch cards to fulfill order demands to GMP standards for clean room operation, with instruction and supervision; accurately recording of information on batch cards.
- Set-up and operation of batch controller, lines, tanks, and packaging equipment.
- Set-up and/or operation of mechanical equipment and printers; observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of assembled units.
- Fill liquid batches as necessary.
- Accurately weigh materials and record on batch cards.
- Packaging and labeling of finished goods.
- Verify labels for specific item numbers, lot numbers, etc.
- Record and maintain production data such as meter readings, quantities, and types of materials.
- Assist in performing QA and QC checks (torque, labels, containers, packaging) when designated by Leads and Supervisor.
- Assist in equipment adjustments, as necessary, to maintain proper product quality control with supervision.
- Cleaning equipment as required to maintain effective and efficient operation.
- Perform general housekeeping duties; maintain clean workspace and follow procedures for gowning, cleaning of floors and surfaces per detailed procedures.
- Assist in spill clean-up when designated by Supervisor.
- Involvement with waste handling processes: dispose of waste in appropriate containers and fill out appropriate waste logs.
- Additional duties/tasks as needed/requested by management.
- Complies with all safety regulations; maintains a safe work environment at all times.
- Adheres to always wearing the proper PPE/Safety equipment.
- Understands and complies with all written safety, health, and environmental procedures.
- Attends all required scheduled Health, Safety and Environmental training sessions.
- Participates in required Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and programs.
- Perform required administrative functions related to Health, Safety and Environmental functions such as completing forms, checklists, and log sheets.
- 1 year experience in production setting.
- Fluent with the English language.
- Ability to understand and follow procedures/directions both written and verbal.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Organized and ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
- Math skills – Ability to convert lbs., grams, kilos, ounces, liters, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities and demands.
- Experience with utilizing ERP, MRP, or Inventory Management Systems preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- 1 year experience in clean room production setting.
- High School Diploma or GED
