Application Programmer

- An accomplished developer who would define, build and test the solution often working on multiple projects/work-streams at the same time
- Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes
- Take responsibility in owning and managing the end to end technical delivery of all the projects
- Drive implementation of Key Features using Lean Agile methodology
- 7+ years' experience with Java with Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC
- Knowledge of Java profiling tools
- Angular, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring Restful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations
- Knowledge of performance tuning of data intensive applications
- Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
- Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Software development using Agile methodology and processes
- Self-starter, organized, versatile and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
- Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change
- Operates with a sense of urgency and ownership
- Knowledge of Hadoop, Big Data technologies
- Prior experience in supporting lines of businesses
- Prior development or infrastructure support experience
- Background in enterprise stress testing
- Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing
- In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages
- Ability to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform
- Attention to detail
- Able to mentor new team members
