Wood Assembler

- Assemble customer products using blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Operate shop tools such as: bandsaw, chop saw, rip saw, table saw, nail guns, stitchers, hot melt gluers
- Various electric hand tools
- Use hot melt gluers to adhere different materials and components.
- Ensure products are built accurately and in the correct quantities.
- Perform first-piece inspections and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
- Complete and maintain accurate work orders and production records.
- Handle finished products safely and ensure customer specifications are met.
- Assist and train others by demonstrating proper operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following 5S standards.
- Resolve minor production issues and support overall production flow.
- Perform physical work including lifting boxes weighing 50–75 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Previous assembly/wood production experience required
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled in the use of power tools and specialty shop equipment
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Experience with measuring tools, gauges, jigs, and inspection equipment
