- Process weekly payroll for exempt, non-exempt, union, and non-union.
- Maintain payroll data integrity, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay changes.
- Calculate and enter deductions, garnishments, and adjustments accurately.
- Prepare and issue paychecks in-house, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
- Audit payroll transactions to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Generate standard and ad hoc payroll reports for Finance, HR, and leadership.
- Utilize SAP ERP for all payroll-related functions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies in partnership with HR and Operations.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related questions from managers.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality.
- 3+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll principles, wage and hour laws, and multi-state payroll.
- Experience with large ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience processing union payroll.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or large-scale operations.
