This includes maintaining accurate documentation of training materials and process documents. Further, this role is responsible for new campus rollouts, identifying, and supporting underperforming campus teams and providing overall subject matter expertise and support within Financial Aid.
  • FA Processes: Identify, define, and document all campus FA processes. This effort includes the initial documentation and ongoing maintenance and revisions.
  • Training: Develop and maintain training materials for all aspects of FA.
  • Onboarding/Staff Training: Develop and maintain onboarding plans for all campus FA positions. Conduct training for all new hires to maintain consistency.
  • General Campus Support: Provide direct leadership and oversight of campus FA teams when the FA Director role is vacant.
  • Underperforming Campus Support: Support VP of Financial Aid and Regional VPs of Enrollment Services to identify underperforming campuses. Work side by side with campus FA and Enrollment leaders to identify root causes and develop improvements plans improve performance and achieve outcomes.
  • New Campus Rollouts: Lead all FA aspects for new campus rollouts. This includes FA specific system set up plus training and process implementation. Continue to provide day to day support until the campus can operate without significant support.
  • Veteran Affairs (VA): Oversees initial approval for VA benefits for all new campus locations. Work with campus team members to ensure that VA students are properly packaged and certified for their initial academic year. Also makes sure campus team member complete annual VA training.
  • Support overall compliance within the financial aid function. Report potential compliance issues to VP of FA.
  • Accountability: Hold leaders accountable within a matrix structure in partnership with Enrollment Services leaders.
  • FA Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise throughout Financial Aid.
  • Prioritize work, handle pressure, and meet deadlines and goals established to meet financial aid strategic goals.

  • Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Title IV aid administration experience required.
  • Minimum of 7 years leadership experience required.
  • High degree of professionalism and discretion dealing with confidential information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English.
  • Ability to drive execution of tasks and change within an organization.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and judgement.
