- Leadership and Upholding Quality Standards: You’ll lead the Quality team and ensure QC standards are maintained throughout all project phases, including preconstruction, operations, and closeout.
- Documentation and Compliance: You will maintain and update company QC manual, oversee the quality management system (QMS), and prepare for yearly audits.
- Project Oversight: You’ll review project QC plans, conduct audits of quality records, and participate in pre-detailing meetings to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Training and Development: You’ll provide initial and ongoing training to field quality control inspectors, ensuring they are equipped to maintain high standards on-site.
- Continuous Improvement: You’ll establish yearly company QC goals, maintain a library of industry standards, and actively drive continuous improvement to our processes.
- Excellent Audit Performance: Excel in annual AISC audits, aiming for minimal corrective actions.
- Improve Areas of Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions: Monitor and reduce non-conformances and corrective actions, ensuring efficient resolution and minimizing costs.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain strong customer satisfaction through exemplary project QC performance and proactive communication.
- Minimum CWI Level 2 Certification (Level 3 preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel construction
- Willingness to travel approximately 1 week per month
- Office location: Harrisburg, PA (preferred) or Cocoa Beach, Florida
- Competitive salary: $90,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience
