- Measure, cut, and install steel and plastic pipes in compliance with NFPA standards and local building codes.
- Attach sprinkler heads and fittings, ensuring systems are leak-free and properly functioning.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to determine system layout and placement.
- Perform routine inspections, service, and repairs to maintain compliance with regulations and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with on-site contractors and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work is completed with high precision and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Document job details, including materials used, work performed, and site conditions.
- Active MA Sprinkler Fitter Journeyman License.
- Proven experience installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
- Strong understanding of NFPA standards, national fire codes, and local building regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights up to 30 feet and adverse weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and operate required tools and lifts safely.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within Massachusetts.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines and lift operations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
