Senior Electrical EngineerDallas, TX | Direct Hire | ~ +/- $90,000 – $150,000 DOEOur client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage electrical design and project management for residential and commercial projects of varying size and complexity. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee projects from concept through construction, mentor junior staff, and work closely with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality results.Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical engineering projects from design through construction.
  • Prepare concept designs, load calculations, schematics, equipment selection, and system reports.
  • Design electrical systems including distribution, transfer switching, UPS, grounding/bonding, lighting & control, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
  • Design ICAT services such as communication, AV, security/access control, monitoring systems, and structured cabling.
  • Write construction specifications and review design proposals for cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide quality and cost control throughout design and construction.
  • Mentor junior engineers and assign technical duties as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Conduct occasional site visits during construction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (other relevant engineering disciplines considered with strong experience).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience (consulting engineering background preferred).
  • Experience with mechanical/electrical coordination and construction considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with engineering contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with ability to interact across all levels of staff and clients.
  • LEED accreditation and/or Project Management training a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
