
Senior Electrical Engineer - Relocation Assistance to Dallas, TX

- Lead electrical engineering projects from design through construction.
- Prepare concept designs, load calculations, schematics, equipment selection, and system reports.
- Design electrical systems including distribution, transfer switching, UPS, grounding/bonding, lighting & control, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
- Design ICAT services such as communication, AV, security/access control, monitoring systems, and structured cabling.
- Write construction specifications and review design proposals for cost-effective solutions.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide quality and cost control throughout design and construction.
- Mentor junior engineers and assign technical duties as needed.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
- Conduct occasional site visits during construction.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (other relevant engineering disciplines considered with strong experience).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 5+ years of related industry experience (consulting engineering background preferred).
- Experience with mechanical/electrical coordination and construction considered an asset.
- Familiarity with engineering contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with ability to interact across all levels of staff and clients.
- LEED accreditation and/or Project Management training a plus.
- Ability to visualize and maneuver in virtual design environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical ideas.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and resourceful.
- High creativity and imagination with practical problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative.
- Salary range: ~ $90,000 $150,000, based on experience.
