You will be reporting to Todd J. Mergen.Your hourly rate of pay is $52.89. This position is Non-Exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with local state and federal law.Your date of employment will be determined based on your availability. In this position you will be expected to:
- Perform tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by a Project Engineer, Project Leader, or Project Manager.
- Tasks will include being able to follow direction, assisting structural engineers in preparing design packages, performing simple calculations, attending internal meetings and participating in field reviews.
- Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Courses in Power/Energy a plus
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
- Experience with computer-aided design programs (AutoCAD, Micro station, etc.) is desired but not required for consideration.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
