Pay Rate: $70.00/hr. W2A local government entity is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead and support a major Workday ERP system implementation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of project management experience, a background in ERP systems, and a proven ability to manage complex enterprise-level projects.The ERP Project Manager will coordinate planning, implementation, testing, training, and stabilization activities across Financial Management and Human Resources Management modules, with potential for future expansion into additional modules.Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with the project plan.
- Support the Implementor's Team and stakeholders in staying on task.
- Monitor project health, manage expectations, and mitigate risks.
- Provide periodic updates to stakeholders and leadership on progress.
- Coordinate vendor accountability, communications, and project dependencies.
- Oversee cutover, adoption, and stabilization of the new ERP platform.
- Develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
- Facilitate team meetings, track deliverables, and resolve barriers to success.
- Apply project management best practices across design, planning, migration, interfaces, testing, and training.
- Minimum 8 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Strong background in ERP systems and module implementation.
- PMP certification required.
- Strong background in Oracle EBS/Workday transition projects.
- Experience in public sector ERP implementations (State or local government preferred)
- Familiar with Oracle EBS SUITE modules and configurations.
- Experience across the ERP project lifecycle: design, planning, migration, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Knowledge of SDLC models (Agile, Waterfall, Spiral, etc.).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to hold vendors accountable and provide best practices from prior implementations.
- Must be able to provide and use own equipment (Laptop, Monitors)
