- Use mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics to prepare and assemble electronic/mechanical assemblies.
- Use IPC standards and/or other internally specified requirements, solder components and cables to assemblies with surface mount, wire to wire, and through hole applications.
- Use T.D. Williamson (TDW) PLM system to find all needed documentation.
- Follow all applicable documentation, including wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, work instructions and/or other supporting documentation to correctly assemble, program, test and troubleshoot electronic/mechanical assemblies.
- Update all assigned manufacturing work orders.
- Comply with safety protocols, rules, and best practices to ensure safety of self and others, including proper handling of hand tools and power tools/equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly area.
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements in processes and procedures; assist engineering with development of new processes, fixtures, procedures, and capabilities for current and new designs with fleet.
- Complete assigned training modules by specified due dates.
- High School Diploma and three (3) to five (5) years of experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Institute for Printed Circuits (IPC) certification preferred.
- Knowledge of soldering best practices.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, procedures within electronic technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to assemble products with consistent high-quality output.
- Ability to learn new processes, procedures, functions, and best practices in an ever-changing environment.
