Job Description
- Performs psychosocial interventions with clients within scope of practice.
- Conducts individual, family, or group counseling, testing, and education for clients.
- Develops intervention goals aimed at education and resolving client issues.
- Participates in establishing, implementing, and evaluating treatment system goals and objectives.
- Interviews clients and their families to define case goals and objectives.
- Assesses clients and determines appropriate intervention techniques, monitoring responses to treatment.
- Provides feedback on treatment effectiveness and evaluates client progress.

- Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II) by Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board
- Or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board
- Or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board
- Or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board
- Or Licensed Registered Nurse by Ohio Board of Nursing with a master's degree in psychology or a mental health-related field
