Our mission is to build the data platform for the age of AI, powering a new class of data-first applications and driving a data culture.​​​​​The Azure Data Content Strategy Team is where innovation meets impact in shaping how millions of data professionals experience Microsoft's data platform. We're looking for a Senior Program Manager to be part of a dynamic team that drives content strategy across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and the broader Azure Data ecosystem, working directly with engineering teams, product leaders, and global communities to deliver world-class content experiences.​​We do not just value differences or different perspectives.   • ​​Orchestrate the docs lifecycle – set the process and guidance for documentation on Azure data products that Feature PMs will leverage.
  • Blog reviewer - review every Fabric & Power BI blog (tone, SEO, accessibility), coach authors, and land clear stories that reinforce product launches.
  • Curate the public Product Roadmap – partner with PMs to draft & polish roadmap-card descriptions, ensuring scope, timing, and customer value are crystal clear.
  • Data-driven improvement – run dashboards & A/B tests on page content, search terms, and CSAT to spot content gaps and iterate fast.
  • Escalation & issue triage – monitor GitHub feedback, resolve critical doc bugs before release blocks, and be the voice of the customer.
  • Cross-team & vendor coordination – sync with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Localization, and external vendors to hit deadlines and keep global content consistent. ​
Embody our andQualifications:Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in program management, digital content publishing/management, or experience in a writing or editing role
  • OR equivalent experience.

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Business or related field and 7+ years relevant experience, or equivalent
  • 5+ years recent experience with web, social, in-product, or learning modalities
  • Familiarity with generative AI tooling and content governance best practices​
Proven success delivering large-scale content initiatives within a matrixed environmentData-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English​Content Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
