- Strong understanding of Store Point of Sale systems, Store Customer Services systems, Contact Center customer service systems, and Business-to-Business point of sale and customer service systems.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies and tools, including Agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience with applications used by associates for product, service, and customer information sharing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5-7 years in senior leadership roles (e.g., Senior Manager, Director) managing large teams and complex projects.
- Demonstrable experience in setting and executing technical strategy for a significant engineering function.
- Proven success in building, leading, and motivating high-performing engineering teams.
- Extensive experience with agile/lean development practices and scaling them across multiple teams.
