Design and develop COBOL programs for batch and online systems.
Modify existing code to meet user requests and business needs.
Collaborate with project requestors to understand requirements and review outcomes.
Identify and resolve technical or operational issues.
Recommend improvements to development processes or tools.
Troubleshoot data balancing and integration issues.
Qualifications
5+ years of COBOL programming experience.
Skilled in both batch and online systems, including SCOBOL.
Proficient with Tandem utilities and structured code development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Comfortable managing your own development tasks independently.
