Job Title: SuperintendentJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to support our client's large Ground Up K-12 projects across the DMV area. This role involves managing field operations, ensuring compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and safety standards while leading both self-performed and contracted work.Responsibilities
  • Arrive at the job site between 6:00 to 6:30 am to start the day.
  • Lead and manage field operations effectively.
  • Oversee self-performed and contracted work to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and safety standards.
Essential Skills
  • Experience as a Superintendent within education facilities, with a preference for K-12 projects.
  • Experience with base build and ground-up construction.
  • Ability to potentially work nights and weekends to maintain project schedules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience supporting projects valued at $100 million.
  • Experience overseeing multiple jobs simultaneously.
Work EnvironmentThis role is based 100% at the project site, with a commitment to place candidates at the closest job near their home, though this is not always guaranteed. Project durations typically range from 18 to 24+ months, with a presence in both Virginia and Maryland markets.
