- Perform data management, document & records management, grant application reviews and analyses.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to Head Start and Early Head Start grant programs.
- Provide support to grantee programs as needed.
- Attend client meetings as assigned and organize documentation.
- Assist with preliminary grant application reviews.
- Perform program support tasks as requested.
- Baccalaureate degree in a field related to task activities from an accredited university or college, or a combination of education and experience that provides the needed preparation to complete the task activities.
- Two years of relevant experience can be substituted for degree
- Knowledge and experience with Head Start or other early childhood programs is a major plus
- Knowledge of the current laws, regulations, and policies that govern Head Start is a major plus
- Experience in utilizing a variety of web-based and off-the-shelf data management software packages.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, and produce high quality written products such as memoranda, presentations, and correspondence.
- Knowledge and experience with the administration of discretionary grants is preferred.
- Ability to review, aggregate, and present data gathered from multiple sources.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Federal operations and regulations.
